Monitoring
We keep an eye on your website, so you don't have to
A website can break quietly. A certificate expires, a form stops sending email, a page shows an error. Often you only find out when a customer mentions it.
With monitoring we keep watch: whether your site is up, whether errors occur, when certificates expire and whether there is suspicious activity, such as lots of failed login attempts. If we notice something, you hear it from us, in writing.
Who is this for?
- You run a webshop or customer portal where downtime costs you customers right away.
- You've heard from a customer before that your site wasn't working.
- Your site has a form or integration you rely on, but nobody checks it.
- You want to know if someone is trying to get in.
What we keep an eye on
Uptime
We automatically check whether your site is online and loading properly.
Errors
Errors on your site or in your app are logged, so we see what goes wrong and where.
Certificates and domain
We see in good time when your HTTPS certificate or domain name is about to expire.
Suspicious activity
Lots of failed login attempts or unusual traffic stand out.
Key features
Forms, payments or integrations that matter to you get extra attention.
Alert with explanation
If something stands out, you get a plain-language alert: what's going on and what we suggest.
What you get out of it
Knowing sooner
You hear it from us instead of from a customer who gives up.
No surprises
You see an expiring certificate coming, not only once visitors get a warning.
Peace of mind
You don't have to check every day whether everything still works.
What it costs
Within one working day you get a quote with a fixed price. Monitoring is also part of our website maintenance, together with updates and backups. Then you don't have to arrange it separately.
Monitoring is not a 24/7 emergency service. We keep an eye on your site and report what we see, but we are not on standby day and night to step in. Is your site down? Report an outage: you get an answer within 12 hours, including evenings and weekends.
How it works
Step 1
Request
You tell us which site or app it is and what matters most to you.
Step 2
Setup
Together we decide what to watch, and we set up the checks.
Step 3
Watching
The checks run automatically. We keep an eye on what they pick up.
Step 4
Reporting
If something stands out, you hear it in writing, with a suggestion.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you fix things straight away when something goes wrong?
- Monitoring means we see it and report it. A repair is something we agree with you, and you hear the cost first. If your site is completely down, report an outage.
- Is this the same as maintenance?
- No. Monitoring is watching. Maintenance also means updating: updates, backups and small text changes. Monitoring is part of maintenance, but you can also request it on its own.
- Does this work for a site you didn't build?
- We can check uptime and certificates for almost any site. For error tracking, something sometimes needs to be added to the site. You hear that in advance.
- What happens if something breaks at night?
- The checks keep running at night, but we are not on standby around the clock. If you notice your site is down, report an outage: you get an answer within 12 hours.
