Website security
Secure your website before someone misuses it
A website is a front door that is always open. Outdated software, a weak password or a forgotten admin account is enough to get in. We lock your site down on the technical side.
That covers HTTPS, security headers, updates, who is allowed to log in, and backups you can actually restore. The work is done by our cybersecurity specialist, only on your site and only with your written permission.
Who is this for?
- Your browser or a visitor says your site is 'not secure'.
- You no longer know who can log in to your website.
- Your site has been running for years and has never been updated.
- You have a form or customer login and want that data to be safe.
What we secure
HTTPS and certificate
Your site can only be visited over an encrypted connection, and the certificate stays valid.
Security headers
Settings that tell the browser what is and isn't allowed. For example, nobody can quietly hide your site inside a fake one.
Updates
Outdated software and plugins updated, so known holes are closed.
Access
Old accounts removed, strong passwords and two-factor login for everyone who is allowed in.
Forms
Forms that are protected against spam and abuse.
Backups
Backups stored away from your site, and tested so we know they can be restored.
What you get out of it
Known holes closed
The usual ways in no longer work on your site.
Trust from visitors
No warning in the browser, but a site where customers feel safe leaving their details.
A plan B
If something does go wrong, there is a backup ready that actually works.
What it costs
Within one working day you get a quote with a fixed price and a fixed date. It says exactly what we secure. Want it kept up afterwards? That's possible with website maintenance, for a fixed monthly fee.
A website that can never be hacked doesn't exist, so we don't promise one. What we do is close the known holes. Want to know how strong your security really is? A security assessment tests exactly that.
How it works
Step 1
Inventory
We look at how your site is built, where it runs and who has access.
Step 2
Permission in writing
We write down what we will change. We only start once you have signed.
Step 3
Locking down
Our cybersecurity specialist puts the measures in place and tests them.
Step 4
Handover
You get a plain-language summary of what we did and what you should keep doing yourself.
Frequently asked questions
- I already have a padlock in the browser. Am I safe?
- Not necessarily. The padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about outdated software, weak passwords or missing backups.
- Will my site go offline during the work?
- Usually you won't notice a thing. If your site does need to go down briefly, we agree a time in advance that suits you.
- How is this different from a security assessment?
- Here we lock your site down. In a security assessment we test how strong your security is and you get a report. Not sure? Start with the assessment, then you know what's needed.
- Someone else built my site. Can you still do this?
- In the inventory we look at how your site is put together and where it runs. If we can't secure it properly, you hear that before you pay for anything.
